Applying to Cal Coast Academy

Cal Coast Academy seeks students who will contribute to the diversity of the School's community through their academic potential and achievements, creative talents, character and general involvement in Cal Coast Academy's co-curricular activities. The admissions process is designed to identify students who have intellectual curiosity and ability and/or the potential to meet the demands of a college preparatory program, as well as unique talents and qualities, admirable character, and enthusiasm for contributing to the School community.

In addition to these characteristics, admissions decisions are based on a student's application for admission, previous academic background and recommendations from current teachers and school administrator.

An Open House and a Back To School Night are opportunities for prospective families to meet faculty, current parents and students, and ask questions of school and admissions staff members.

Applications for Middle School and Upper School at Cal Coast Academy will be accepted after October 1, 2010.  All applications must be received at the Cal Coast Academy offices by June 20, 2011 in order for the applicant to be considered for priority admissions.  Admission decisions will be made by August 1, 2011.  Any applications received after June 20, 2011 will be placed in the waiting pool for decisions and will be considered on a space available basis.  Cal Coast Academy accepts student applications year round due to its revolving enrollment policy.
