Summer Sessions 2012

Cal Coast Academy offers three different summer opportunities: for-credit classes, enrichment courses, and one-one-one tutoring and/or for-credit classes. Enrollment for all summer school sessions begins in February. Enrollment is limited, therefore a $450 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. The deposit, in full, is then applied to the course cost. Semester tuition is due in full on or before the 1st class of each semester. Tuition is non-refundable after classes begin. Cal Coast Academy accepts payment in the forms of cash, check and credit cards. Checks should be made payable to Cal Coast Academy.

FOR-CREDIT CLASSES:
Students can advance or catch up with their studies in our for-credit academic courses. Cal Coast Academy's college preparatory classes meet Monday through Friday from 8am to 12pm for a total of 60 hours per semester. Our for-credit courses consist of 2, 3-week long semesters. First semester classes run from Monday, June 25th through Monday, July 16th, excluding Wednesday, July 4th, and second semester classes run from Tuesday, July 17th through Tuesday, August 7th.  Cal Coast Academy's for-credit summer classes cost $925 per semester. This price includes textbooks, labs, transcripts, supplemental materials, tests, and quizzes. Please note that any assistance out side of class time, make-up classes, and/or make-up labs carry an additional charge of $65 per hour.  Students must receive permission from his/her guidance counselor prior to enrollment in a Cal Coast Academy for-credit summer course.

ENRICHMENT CLASSES:
Cal Coast Academy's week long enrichment classes meet Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm. Courses begin the week of June 27th. Cal Coast Academy's enrichment courses cost $250 per week long course.

ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES:
Cal Coast Academy offers all for-credit academic courses in a one-on-one format. Courses are scheduled completely around the students availability which proves to be an ideal option for students "on-the-go". Course typically meet 2 or 3 times per week for a minimum of an hour and a half per session. Students receiving one-on-one instruction can usually complete a 60 hour semester in 30 to 35 hours. One-on-one courses cost between $1800 and $2100 per semester.
